The definition has been socially constructed over the last century by historical and contextual factors largely based on the idea of man as provider and protector. After social movements such as the Civil Rights and Feminist movements, man is encouraged to remove his armored exterior and reveal himself human, of flesh and blood, of life and emotions.Fluxx Studio & Gallery is seeking to fill its walls with artworks depicting a 21st century description of manhood.
